Terms and Conditions of sale
General Terms and Conditions
All goods supplied by AFA systems ltd have a 12 months warranty from the date of
supply (unless otherwise stated). The goods are at your risk from the time of
delivery.
We advertise the warranty that is given by the manufacturer at the time of sale,
but we accept no responsibility if the manufacturer should decide to change
there warranty terms & conditions.
It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to liaise directly with the
manufacturer of the product for full details of the warranty agreement should it
is found to be faulty.
All products advertised are subject to availability.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to check compatibility of any product purchased
from us.
All Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may or may not
represent the actual product sold.
AFA systems ltd remains the full owner of all goods shipped to the buyer until
paid in full.
Goods sold by AFA systems ltd are not sold on a trial basis.
AFA systems ltd does not accept responsibility for the loss of any software or
data stored on any system or storage media handed to AFA systems ltd for
inspection, repair, upgrade or other.
AFA systems ltd accepts the responsibility of incorrectly dispatched goods (i.e.
goods not matching the specification displayed on the accompanying invoice) if
notified to, and agreed by, AFA systems ltd within 7 working days of receipt.
AFA systems ltd agrees to pay the dispatch charges of the correct goods. AFA
systems ltd does not accept any consequential loss to the consumer during this
period and offers no compensation for such.
AFA systems ltd aims to dispatch all items once the payment has cleared; this
can take up to 7 working days. Please allow up to 10 days for a cheque to clear
- No Exceptions.
Payments
We accept the following payment methods:-
- Bank Transfer
- Postal Orders
- Cheques
- All major credit and debit cards
- Commercial credit and debit cards will be charged an extra 2.99%.
Goods will only be dispatched once the payment has cleared; this can take up
to 7 working days. Please allow up to 10 days for a cheque to clear - No
Exceptions.
We reserve the right to reject any payment for any reason.
If payment is made by cheque, if the cheque is returned to us as "Bounced"
or Un-cleared" during the clearance period (which can take up to 30days),
we reserve the right to pass on any bank charges incurred by us, to the buyer.
If any payment is returned to the buyer for any reason, after the buyer is in
receipt of goods, AFA systems ltd reserves the right to use a debt collection
agency, to collect any un-cleared funds, for payment in full, and this applies
to any payment method.
Any fees incurred by AFA systems ltd, for collection of un-paid funds to AFA
systems ltd will be passed to the buyer, this includes, Agency fees, court fees,
Solicitors fees, carriage fees, including any other expenses incurred by AFA
systems ltd.
If payment is made by Bank transfer or directly into our account, we reserve the
right to delay despatch of goods until payment has been defined as cleared by
us.
Delivery
When receiving deliveries by courier, you will be asked to sign for the as
"Goods received in good condition". If you are unable to check the contents of
the package at time of delivery, please sign for the parcel as "Unchecked".
Failure to do so will invalidate any warranty claims that you make thereafter.
If you deliberately fail to take delivery of the goods (otherwise than by reason
of circumstances under control of AFA systems ltd) then without prejudice to any
other right or remedy available to AFA systems ltd, AFA systems ltd may:-
- Store the goods until actual delivery and charge you for reasonable
costs (including insurance) of storage;
Should any item be returned to AFA systems ltd, due to an incorrect address
being given by the buyer, the buyer will be responsible for paying any return
carriage fees due, before any item/s are re-despatched. AFA systems ltd, take no
responsibility for an incorrect address being given by the buyer.
For Courier deliveries, they will attempt delivery twice, on two consecutive
working days, after which, a further delivery charge would apply, alternatively
the buyer would have to collect the order from their local courier depot.
If after 5 Working days the order has not been collected from the local courier
depot, the order will be returned, automatically to AFA systems ltd. The full
shipping cost would be charged for re-despatch, plus a charge of £12.99 + VAT.
Returns
To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be in 'new' condition.
You have the right to change your mind at any time up to the end of 7 working
days, after you receive the goods. The goods must have been kept in perfect
condition and no seals broken.
No refund or exchange can be accepted after 7 working days, after you receive
your order.
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods back to AFA
systems ltd.
AFA systems ltd do not operate an advance replacement procedure.
AFA systems ltd cannot refund or exchange any returned goods found to fall into
one or more of the following categories:
1. The goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer
2. The warranty/serial label is found to have been tampered with or torn.
3. The goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by AFA systems
ltd.
4. The RMA Form has not been completed in full or returned with the item(s).
5. The goods were a special order to customer specification.
Before returning the items, please do the following:
1. Ensure you have included everything the item(s) came with (e.g. manuals,
driver disks, cables etc.) (Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also
be returned)
2. Package the items securely
3. Write the RMA no. clearly on the outside of the packaging. DO NOT write it on
the box/packaging the product came in.
4. We recommend that you send the items back with a service that records the
delivery and gets a signature from us upon delivery
A 20% restocking fee will apply to returned goods.
A 15% fee will apply to all goods exchanged by customer.
We will gladly issue a note of credit for any items.

Faulty Goods
Where goods supplied are still under manufacturer’s warranty, then the buyer
must exercise the warranty directly with the manufacturer and not AFA systems
ltd if they are found to be faulty.
AFA systems ltd accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss caused to
the buyer for the receiving of faulty goods.
TFT LCD Monitors
Most manufacturers generally will only replace monitors with more than 3 dead
pixels, any monitors with less than 3 dead pixels are not classified as a fault
& are not covered by the warranty..
We do not accept returns of monitor as this is dealt by the manufacturer
directly unless otherwise stated.
Collections
We do not allow collections.
AFA systems ltd reserves the right to change these conditions of sale without
notice to you, in relation to future sales
